BFT= Bye Flat Tires!
"When I bought my e-bike I opted for 29”x3” rims and tires because I spent the extra money to get an air shock in the middle of the frame to cushion my rear wheel and I didn’t need the extra cushion that the 26”x4” tires offer and I think the 29x3 look and handle better. What I didn’t realize was the fact that it is difficult to find tires and tubes in this size. The original back tire that came with the bike was terrible! I had at a minimum 15 times that I had flats and had to to patch the tube. I love trail riding, as I grew up riding dirt bikes, but even something as small as a thorn would give me a flat. I found the “BFT” offered by CST Tires and replaced those original tires and it was like night and day. These are great tires ! I have since worn out one of them and had only two flat tires throughout the life of that tire, and have sacrificed nothing in the way of traction and handling of the bike. The CST BFT is also significantly more affordable than other tires I have found in this size. These will be my go to tires for as long as I have this bike, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a rugged, and affordable tire in this hard to find size or any other size they might be shopping for!"
